The Lincoln Park Public Library is the informational hub of the community and strives to enhance the quality of life for all who visit by providing a variety of resources and a welcoming facility that will effectively promote lifelong education and entertainment.

Overview

We are proud members of the Main Library Alliance, a nonprofit network of 51 public libraries located in Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset and Warren Counties. Main’s mission is to lead and encourage collaboration, resource sharing, staff development and innovation by providing high-quality, cost-effective shared services to member libraries for their communities, fostering the exchange of ideas and experiences within our network. As a member of Main, our patrons have access to over 3.1 million physical and digital items, including but not limited to eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, games, and of course, books.

Goals

The Lincoln Park Public Library Board of Trustees and staff embrace the future of our community and aspire to be the best possible library by creating opportunities for users to come together, participate, and discover by:

​

  • Responding to the research and entertainment needs of our community

  • Ensuring the freedom of access to library materials and services

  • Embracing new and emerging technologies while continuing to provide library collections that appeal to all age groups and technological orientation

  • Encouraging partnerships with the borough, schools, and community organizations in order to expand library service beyond the walls of the library and help promote the library throughout the community

  • Ensuring excellent customer service through ongoing training for library staff

  • Providing careful stewardship of the library's facility and its financial assets

Services

COPY SERVICE

The Lincoln Park Public Library has a copier available to the public. The cost is .10¢ copy for black and white and .30¢ for color.

FAX SERVICE

To send a fax at the library, ask the Circulation staff. The library charges $1.00 per page to send or receive domestic faxes.

COMPUTERS 

The Lincoln Park Public Library has 4 desktop computers available for public use whenever the library is open. We also have laptops and 2-in-1 tablets that may be checked out. 

​

ACCESS

A patron may enter a Library Card ID and password to log on using our S.A.M. System. You may extend your time on a computer by asking for an extension at the Circulation Desk. If you are visiting our library, you may ask for a visitor guest pass at the Circulation Desk.

​

PRINTING

Patrons can print from all public computers. Black and White printouts are .10¢ copy and color print outs are .30¢ copy. Patrons may also email librarylincolnpark@gmail.com to have a staff member print a document for them. Additionally, patrons can use our wireless printing service to upload documents from their own devices to be printed at the library by a staff member.
