4-7thth Grade Book Club

Kids entering grades 4-7th are welcome to participate in the Summer Book Club for Kids weekly on Thursdays at 4:30pm starting July 16th! The kids will be reading and discussing The Night Librarian by Christopher Lincoln (Graphic Novel).

Each meeting a child attends will award them a special raffle ticket for the Summer Reading Raffle. This means that instead of getting to fill out just one raffle ticket for reading this book, the child can receive up to 5 additional Book Club raffle tickets depending on how many meetings they attend. Please register your child for each meeting they are able to attend.

The following chapters should be read by the following dates:

Thursday, July 16: Chapter 1 & 2 (pages 1-49)

Thursday, July 23: Chapter 2-6 (pages 50-102)

Thursday, July 30: Chapter 7-10 (pages 103-157)

Thursday, August 6: Chapter 11-14 (pages 158-200)

Thursday, August 13: Chapter 15-Epilogue (page 200-end of book)

2nd & 3rd Grade Book Club

Each meeting a child attends will award them a special raffle ticket for the Summer Reading Raffle. This means that instead of getting to fill out just one raffle ticket for reading this book, the child can receive up to 3 additional Book Club raffle tickets depending on how many meetings they attend. Please register your child for each meeting they are able to attend.

Mystery Box Book Club- Ongoing 
Ever wanted to be part of a book club but don't necessarily want to read what the book club is reading, or you don't have time to make it to the meeting, or heck, you just don't want to be social? This is the book club for you. Fill out the form below and we will curate a book box just for you! Each book box will contain two surprise books, a snack, and an activity. Boxes will be available for pick up approximately 1 week after completing the form. Physical forms can be found at the front desk of the library or you can fill out a form online.
